Back Garden In Christ's Hospital, Sussex
A newly built house with no flowerbeds, a black shed, plain concrete paving slabs and overlooked from the back. The brief was to create a modern, child-friendly garden that provides some screening from overlooking houses, plus an area for bins and a screen for the shed, as well as making the garden an outdoor room (therefore lots of areas for seating). The plants needed to be low maintenance, provide interest all year and look architectural.
